WEILAND's Wife Joined By Members Of JANE'S ADDICTION, VELVET REVOLVER Members At L.A. Signing

November 18, 2009

Mary Forsberg Weiland was joined by friends — including musicians Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION),Dave Kushner (VELVET REVOLVER),Mark McGrath as well as director/writer Cameron Crowe, actress Ivana Milicevic, Perla Hudson (wife of Slash) and writing collaborator Larkin Warren — to celebrate the November 10 release of her new book "Fall To Pieces: A Memoir of Drugs, Rock 'n' Roll, and Mental Illness" (William Morrow/HarperCollins Publishers) at Book Soup in West Hollywood, California Monday night (November 16).

Wire Image photos of the event are available at this location.

At the event, Mary read passages from her gripping memoir, took questions and signed copies of the book. In "Fall To Pieces", Mary — mother, model, bipolar disorder survivor and recovering drug addict — beautifully tells the story of her life and her longtime relationship with STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/former VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland. Mary reveals the extreme highs and lows of her life with refreshing candor and unflinching detail. She offers a window into the world of modeling and rock 'n' roll, while at the same time providing deep insights into the drug and alcohol addictions that could have killed her, and her serious, recently diagnosed and misunderstood mental illness.
